Body Contouring Pre-Care Instructions

2 Weeks Before Procedure:

  • Avoid Excessive Alcohol: Minimize alcohol consumption to reduce skin sensitivity and dehydration.

1 Week Before Procedure:

  • Hydrate: Prior to starting your first session and during each 3-day period of treatment, we recommend you drink 2-3 liters of water. Water and hydration is key to this process being effective.
  • Avoid Caffeine: It is best to restrict products that impact lymphatic flow (i.e. caffeine, alcohol and sugar in large amounts) during the process.
  • Avoid Hot Baths and Saunas: Stay away from hot baths and saunas that can affect circulation and hydration.
     

1-3 Days Before Procedure:

  • Avoid Alcohol: Limit alcohol consumption to prevent dehydration and sensitivity.
  • Avoid Caffeine: Minimize caffeine intake to avoid dehydration.
  • Stimulate Lymphatic Flow. Do a low impact workout includes low impact workouts, swimming, jogging and or cycling during this process. Even brisk walking will help.

  • Avoid Exfoliation: Do not use exfoliating products on the treatment area.

Day of Procedure:

  • Low Impact Physical Activity: Incorporate for best results.
  • Wear Faja: bring faja if you have one to optimize results.

Body Contouring Post-Care Instructions

Immediately After Procedure:

  • Hydrate: Drink plenty of water to aid in the removal of toxins and support the body's natural processes.
  • Avoid Heat: Refrain from exposing the treated area to heat sources like hot showers, saunas, or hot tubs for 48 hours.

Day 1-7:

  • Wear Compression Garments: If recommended, wear compression garments to support the treated area and reduce swelling.
  • Avoid Alcohol and Caffeine: Limit alcohol and caffeine consumption to prevent dehydration.
  • Hydrate: Continue drinking a minimum of 2 liters of water per day.

Important Reminders:

  • Massage the Area: If advised, gently massage the treated area to support lymphatic drainage and enhance results.

Long-Term Care:

  • Maintain Hydration: Continue to drink plenty of water to support overall skin health and results.
  • Healthy Diet: Maintain a balanced diet to support your body's natural processes and contouring results.
  • Regular Exercise: Engage in regular physical activity to support overall body contouring and health.
