Fat Dissolve Aftercare Instructions
Immediately After Treatment:
- Itching and Redness: Some itching, stinging, redness, or warmth may occur, lasting from a few hours to a couple of days.
- Swelling and Bruising: These are normal and may persist for several days.
- Tenderness: The skin may feel tender to the touch.
Day 1-7:
- Massage the Area: Gently massage the treated area as recommended to aid in the removal of excess waste.
- Hydrate: Drink 1-2 liters of water daily to support the body’s natural processes.
- Avoid Sun Exposure: Stay out of direct sunlight and avoid sunbeds for at least one week to reduce the risk of hyperpigmentation.
- Healthy Diet and Exercise: Maintain a balanced diet and engage in light exercise to support the treatment process.
- Compression Garments: Wear compression garments if advised, for short periods to enhance treatment effects.
During Recovery, Clients Should Avoid:
- Swimming Pools: Refrain from swimming to prevent potential irritation and infection.
- Spas & Saunas: Avoid spas and saunas for 3 days to prevent heat-related issues.
- Physical Exercise: Avoid intense physical activity for 10 days to prevent excess swelling.
- Other Aesthetic Treatments: Do not undergo additional aesthetic procedures for 2 weeks.
Important Reminders:
- Monitor for Complications: Rare complications may include nodules, necrosis, abscesses, or infections. Seek medical attention if any concerning symptoms arise.
- Avoid Excessive Heat: Refrain from exposing the treated area to heat sources.
What to Expect During the Healing Phase:
- Days 1-3: Redness, swelling, and tenderness should gradually subside.
- Days 4-7: Swelling and bruising should decrease, and tenderness will lessen. The treated area may still be tender.
Common Side Effects:
- Redness, Swelling, and Itchy Skin: These are typical and should improve within a few days.
- Bruising: Light bruising might occur and usually resolves in about 4-6 days.
Potential Side Effects:
- Flushing: Temporary redness or flushing.
- Vagal Response: Rare drop in heart rate or blood pressure.
